DEC has designed shallow foundation solutions for mining, oil and gas, industrial, commercial, and residential projects. One of our favorite shallow foundation projects include a slab-on-grade to support a raise bore machine that applied over 1.4 million pounds of thrust onto the slab. The same project required a slab-on-grade to support a 2.5-million-pound crane.
